The time has come for me to finally admit defeat. I’m not a big fan of the Autumn or Winter, and in fact, I struggle quite a lot in the cold. As soon as the clocks go back, that’s it, I’m done! And this year is no exception. I think, one way or another, we are all facing our own personal battles with Lockdown 2.0 announced just last week. Whether you embrace the Autumn breeze, or enjoy the smell of smoking chimneys, the Government’s ‘Stay At Home’ advice is hitting, and it’s hitting hard.

A problem shared is a problem halved.

Hang in there... you've got this!

I think it is safe to say that over the coming months we might all need someone to turn to for that extra bit of support, a listening ear or a virtual hug. So, with lockdown 2.0 hanging over us all, I just want to say this…

If you ever feel low, worthless or unsupported, message me. Nothing is more important than you! Look after yourself, look after your health and your mental health and don’t linger in a state of unhappiness. Please continue to put yourself first and if you feel that you can’t do that, call me or message me. I’m never too far away for you to just open up to me.

I’m going to struggle this winter an I have fantastic support around me, but if you don’t, just remember you’re not alone.

"If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome."
